QR Tools turns the page you are viewing in Safari into a QR code, so you can scan it on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android phone, or any other device with a camera.

Why use a QR code for a Safari tab?

It is often faster than copying a URL, sending yourself a message, or waiting for browser sync. Open the extension, scan the QR code on the second device, and continue from the same page.

How it works

  1. Install QR Tools from the App Store.
  2. Enable the QR Tools Safari extension in Safari settings.
  3. Open a page in Safari.
  4. Open QR Tools from the Safari toolbar.
  5. Scan the QR code on another device.
